Darja Krupková is originally from Prague, but had lived abroad from the age of 11, when she had moved to Paris to study at the prestigious ballet school Opéra de Paris. After her graduation in France, she studied literature at the University of Sorbonne in Paris. She performed at a lot of big world stages, but because of an injury, she had to stop her ballet career in 2016 and finally decided to move back to her hometown, Prague. Darja was always fascinated by the universe and so she started studying astronomy in Prague. Currently, she is studying her Master of Business Administration, she always looks for new challenges.
Her teaching career started while she was still at school, helping out her classmates, especially in Maths. In 2016 she began to teach in-company courses and mostly spends her time with home-schooling children. The most important thing for her is the individual approach, as everyone is exceptional with different needs and motivations. As the greatest motivation for teachers should be the progress of their students, Darja considers her students as if they were her own children and gives them all of her attention. She leads them to develop their abilities and the hunger to learn so they could reach the best possible results and to approach their studies with joy.
Darja is thrilled to be a part of Leonardo da Vinci Academy and is looking forward to sharing the love of teaching with her students and co-workers.
