Secondary School – Lower Secondary - Ages 11–14
Bilingual Czech–British Curriculum
Our Secondary School programme builds on the Czech national curriculum, enriched with elements of the British educational framework. It is designed to foster academic rigour, independent thinking, and the ability to understand connections within a broader international context.
Students are encouraged to explore actively, engage with real-world challenges, and develop their individual strengths. The curriculum emphasises interdisciplinary learning, deeper understanding, analytical thinking, and the ability to express ideas with clarity and confidence. Strong communication, collaboration, and personal responsibility are integral to the learning experience.
In addition to English, students further develop their linguistic abilities by studying an additional world language, choosing from French, Spanish, German, or Italian. In Year 9, students sit internationally recognised Cambridge examinations (details here), confirming their level of English proficiency and readiness for further academic study.
An integral part of the programme is a wide range of ECA (Extracurricular Activities), which extend learning beyond the classroom. Students have the opportunity to pursue interests in sports, the arts, technology, and community engagement.

Outstanding Success in Cambridge Exams – Our Students Excel!
Our school has consistently achieved exceptional results in international Cambridge English examinations. We are proud that our students regularly obtain certificates at high proficiency levels, confirming their strong language skills and opening doors to further academic opportunities.
In the previous academic year, our students achieved the following results:
13% reached C2 level – the highest possible language proficiency
60% obtained certificates at C1 level
27% succeeded at B2 level
This means that 73% of our students achieved C1 level or higher - a result that only truly top‑performing schools can boast. Thanks to high‑quality teaching, individual support, and professional exam preparation, our students approach Cambridge exams with confidence and success. Their certificates are clear proof that they genuinely develop into strong and independent language users.
